Welcome to Healthy. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding the collection, use, and storage of your data when you use our mobile application.


2. DATA SOVEREIGNTY (LOCAL-FIRST STORAGE)

Unlike traditional health applications, Healthy operates on a Local-First principle.

  • Device-Only Storage: All sensitive health data, including health logs (Weight, Blood Pressure, etc.), medication schedules, and habit tracking, is stored exclusively on your physical device.
  • No Server Access: We do not maintain a central database. Your health data is never uploaded to our servers, and we have no technical means to access, read, or sell your personal health logs.

3. SECURITY AND ENCRYPTION

To ensure the safety of your information, we utilize industry-standard security measures:

  • AES-256 Encryption: When you utilize the “Export Backup” feature, your data is encrypted using the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256).
  • Hardware-Backed Keys: Encryption keys are stored in your device’s secure hardware (iOS Keychain or Android Keystore). This ensures that even if a backup file is intercepted, it cannot be decrypted without your specific device’s hardware key.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

To support the development and functionality of the app, we integrate the following third-party services:

  1. Google AdMob: Used for displaying advertisements. AdMob may collect certain device identifiers (such as IDFA or AAID) to serve personalized or non-personalized ads.
  2. RevenueCat: Used to manage In-App Purchases (e.g., “Remove Ads”). RevenueCat tracks transaction status but does not have access to your personal health data.

5. USER PERMISSIONS

The application may request the following permissions:

  • Notifications: To provide medication reminders and habit alerts.
  • Files/Storage: To allow you to save your encrypted backup file or import a previous backup.

6. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Because your data is stored locally, you are in full control:

  • Manual Deletion: You may delete individual entries or use the “Reset All Data” feature in Settings to wipe all records instantly.
  • App Uninstallation: Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored data unless you have manually saved an external backup file.
